For a long time the U.S. / Canada border has been the longest friendly border in
the world. Because these two great allies have such a long
history, many American’s treat the border like crossing a state line.
In the years post 9/11 entering and returning from Canada has changed
dramatically. Terrorism is a real threat and that threat is taken
seriously. One change on the horizon is the U.S. government requiring
passports to enter the United States. By January 2009 everyone will be
required to present a passport.
